Barbara Taylor
Barbara graduated from Columbia College, Columbia MO. in 1972 with an
Associates of Arts Degree. In 1980 she received her Cosmetology license
from Wedgwood School of Cosmetology. Then in 1986 an Instructor of
Cosmetology license from Missouri College of Cosmetology, both schools in
Springfield MO. She instructed at Missouri College of Cosmetology from
1986 until 1996 when she took a position as manager of a Great Clips for
Hair Salon in Springfield, MO. by the time she left the company in 2004
she was the General Manger overseeing seven salons in southwest Missouri.
In January 2007 she and her husband Scott purchased Body Enhancement
Clinic, now known as Dharma Day Spa. In June 2010, they purchased Oxygen
Salon and Spa, the business next door, combining them to make Dharma Day
Spa & Salon.
Wendie Pool
A graduate of Plainview High School’s Cosmetology Vo-Tech Program in
1986, Wendie has spent her entire life in the beauty industry, as a
stylist, esthetician, salon and spa owner. She received her Permanent
cosmetics Certification in 2002 at Harmonix in Boca Rotan; Florida.
Considered an expert in permanent make-up artistry, Wendie has referrals
from several of the plastic surgeons in the area. Her skills include,
manicure, pedicure, facial esthetics, facial and body waxing, professional
make-up artistry and permanent make-up application.
Kim Manley
Kim graduated from White River School of Massage Therapy, Fayetteville
Arkansas, in 1996. Through continued education she has been certified in
Myofascial Release, Hot Stone, Shiatsu and Trigger-point to name a few.
She incorporates several techniques into each massage session depending on
the needs of her client. Her years of experience working in the massage
industry have made her one of the most sought after massage therapist in
this area.
Ashlee Lane
Ashlee’s accomplishments include a degree in micro-biology from MSU
(Missouri State University), Artistry of Make-up Application from
University of Chicago, Illinois and Missouri College of Cosmetology’s
School of Esthetics in Springfield, Missouri. She is also a certified
instructor in laser treatments and micro dermabrasion. Her client services
consist of facial esthetics, manicure, pedicure, body and facial waxing
and Swedish Relaxing massage.
Stacie Jordan
Stacie attended college at PMTC (Professional Massage Training Center,
Inc,) in Springfield, Missouri. She is a member of the Missouri Sports
Massage Team and has a National Certification of Massage Therapy license.
She specializes in Sports Massage, CrainoSacral Therapy, Reflexology,
Therapeutic Massage Cupping and Pre-Natal Massage. Her latest
accomplishment is becoming the official massage therapist for the Wolfpac
arena football league in Springfield Missouri.
Karen Karhoff
In 2006 Karen graduated from Heritage College in Kansas City Missouri
with an Associate’s Degree of Occupational Studies in Therapeutic Massage.
She holds certifications with continued education in Ayurvedic Healing Hot
Stone Massage, Trigger-point, Pre-natal and Belavi Face Lift Massage. She
uses several different modalities during her massage depending on the
client’s needs.
